FMHMC Graduation will be organized at FMCC Kankanady

Mangaluru: Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (FMHMC), a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, is organizing the 32nd Graduation Ceremony on 14.05.2022 at Father Muller Convention Centre Kankanady. 

The College is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and is recognized by National Commission for Homoeopathy & Department of Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi. FMHMC is a regional centre of ‘Pharmacovigilance’ under the Ministry of AYUSH and is identified as the Centre for Training Programme in Clinical Research Methods for all M.D. (Hom.) students of RGUHS. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has accredited the College with an ‘A’ Grade.

The college has emerged as a premier medical institute in research, academic excellence, and patient care and has rendered commendable and exemplary services to society during the COVID pandemic. The Institution provides services to the community with the motto “Heal and Comfort”. The College conducts Under Graduate programmes and Post Graduate programmes in 7 specialities.  

The Graduation Ceremony will be held on May 14 (Saturday) at 10.00 am in the Father Muller Convention Centre, Kankanady, Mangaluru.  Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese and President of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, will preside over the ceremony.  The Chief Guest for the programme Dr M Mohan Alva, Chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri and the Guest of Honour Dr K R Janardanan Nair,  President, Medical Assessment and Rating Board for Homoeopathy, National Commission for Homoeopathy will honour the Graduands.

On this day, 99 Graduands will be graduating and 26 Post Graduates will be awarded MD (Hom) degree.  The University rank holders of the examinations declared by RGUHS in 2021 will be honoured.  The meritorious students include 8 BHMS ranks out of 10 of the 2016-17 batch, and 9 M.D (Hom) rank holders of different specialities of the 2018-19 batch.  This year Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College has secured term wise 31 Ranks in 1st year to 4th-year BHMS and subject wise 127 Ranks with the tally of 166 Ranks.  

Gold Medal declared by RGUHS, Karnataka: We are happy to announce that our Alumna Dr Dania P. Johnson (2015-16 Batch), has been awarded Gold Medal declared by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka for securing the highest overall marks in B.H.M.S. examinations held from September 2016 to February 2020 and Awardee of CCRH Scholarship for Quality M.D. Dissertations in Homoeopathy Dr Gayatri Krovvidi, M.D. (Hom) Pharmacy of 2018-19 batch will also be honoured with a memento.

The President’s Gold Medal for the best outgoing undergraduate student will be announced and presented.  And also the best outgoing Postgraduate student of the 2018-19 batch will be announced and honoured. 

Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, has been catering Homoeopathic treatment to the patients since 1985. Over the years, the hospital has been functioning with Out-patient departments in Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Surgery, ENT and 24×7 In-patient department, Yoga & naturopathy unit, Counselling, Physiotherapy, X-ray and laboratory services, with the recent inclusion of Covid Care Centre, Post-Covid Treatment Centre, Specialty Clinics, Online Consultation, Health Check-Up Schemes, Palliative/ Hospice Care Centre and ‘Genesis’ – Fertility Clinic.
