Mangaluru: On account of World Down Syndrome Day, the Department of Physiotherapy Father Muller Medical College is organising special activities for children with Down syndrome in and around the south Canara district.
On March 21, from 9 am to 4 pm at Father Muller Convention Centre there will be a drawing competition, lucky games and a talent show for the children with Down syndrome. Registration for this event is free. The winners will be awarded cash prizes, and all the children will be awarded special gifts. The event is organised to create an awareness of Down syndrome.
Father Muller Medical College Hospital has also declared free Physiotherapy assessment and treatment for all the children with Down syndrome for the next 3 months.
