On the occasion of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, if you want to dream of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat, it means that you have to step towards the self-dependent village. This move is not against innovation. Instead, it is like the phrase new shoots with the old root. Therefore, Aatma Nirbhar Bharat is a path of prosperity which, under the idea of holistic development, is determined and implemented by the villagers themselves, based on the nature of the villages. Under the leadership of The Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University, many like-minded organisations and thinkers have prepared an action plan for three years to implement such a model.
