Virajpet: Grand graduation ceremony was held at Coorg Institute of Dental sciences (CIDS) where 44 degree and 39 post graduate students graduated from the portals of the Institution.
Speaking on the passing out ceremony, dean of the dental medical college Prof. Dr. Sunil Muddaiah said, the institute has all branches in post-graduate section and has offered renowned dentists, doctors and lecturers, researchers to the world.
The institute has tied up with reputed Universities from Europe, North America and South East Asia and the senior faculty members and research scholars visit the institute, he confirmed.
University of Paradeniya, Faculty of dental sciences, Founder Dean Prof. W. M. Tilakaratne was the chief guest on the occasion.
He commended the achievement and services of the college and said, collaboration between different institutes, aid research and education.
Dean Prof. Dr. Sunil Muddiah gave away the Gold Medals for post graduate students and Prof. W. M. Tilakaratne and Kanjithanda M.Kushalppa jointly to degree students and K.Ponnamma Kushalappa gave away the medals for achievers in diverse fields.
