Mangaluru: “Kannada is the official and most widely spoken language in Karnataka. Eminent writers in the Kannada language have contributed a lot in Kannada literature and have bagged the highest Jnana Peetha awards. We can communicate effectively all our feelings only through our mother tongue. We must know all the languages but Kannada should be given more weightage.” said the Chief guest Dr.Vasudeva Belle, Kannada Lecturer in Government P.U college, Bokkapatna on the occasion of Rajyotsava Celebrations on 1 November 2016 at the Vikas P.U college.Dr. Ananth Prabhu, Director of Edu Vikas solutions, Prof. Rajaram Rao T, Correspondent, Mohana R, Vice Principal, Vidya Kamath, Administrator, Shobha, Kannada Lecturer and Pradeep A, Kannada Lecturer & Program Coordinator were present on the dias.
Shravya was the master of ceremony, Nandini welcomed the gathering and the vote of thanks was rendered by Pavan T.V. Various competitions were held and winners were awarded.
