Mangaluru: The inauguration ceremony of a two-day workshop titled “Lead to Win”, Swastika Leadership Boot Camp, was organised under the aegis of Swastika National School, Urwa Store, Mangaluru at Hotel AJ Hospital. At the opening ceremony, noted Businessman R. D. Kini was honoured with the “Swastika Udyoga Ratna” Award.
At the beginning of the event, students of the institute Sanjay, student of I BCom, Varun Prabhu and Raghunandan Sharma III BBA were launched.
Inaugurating the workshop, Somayaji Estate Managing Director Raghunath Somayaji said, “We can achieve anything if there is human effort and the grace of God. Sanjay, the first BCom student will start his business career today, Varun Prabhu and Raghunandan Sharma, the third BBA students who have been growing step by step were wished bright future.
“Becoming an employee is very easy but it is difficult to become an entrepreneur. He exhorted the students that success in life can be achieved through ‘hatha sadhana’.”
Mangala Hospital Medical Director Dr. Ganapathy P. and Bell Paints Director R. D. Kini were the Chief Guests and extended their wishes to students.
The President of the Institute, Dr. Raghavendra Holla welcomed the gathering and Deepa Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. Pooja Rao anchored the programme. The Principal of the College, Dr. Malini N. Hebbar, Resource Persons Sandhya Varma and Rakesh Sharma were also present.
