ManipalManipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS), MAHE, Manipal welcomed the BDS batch of 2022-2023 during an orientation program that was held on November 28, 2022. Lt General (Dr) M D Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor of MAHE, Manipal, was the inaugural program’s chief guest. Dr Giridhar P Kini, Additional Registrar and Director Admission, MAHE, Manipal was the guest of honour, along with the presence of Dr Monica Charlotte Solomon, Dean, MCODS, MAHE-Manipal.

During his address Lt Gen (Dr) Venkatesh congratulated the new batch of students for securing admission to one of the top dental schools in the country. In his address, he stressed that in a professional career, time management is the key to success and that students should make optimal use of their time prudently. He advised the students, that their practice should be clinically directed along with investigation driven. The students are advised to imbibe and internalize the character of humility. Education brings humility and humility the ability to receive and give.

Dr Giridhar P Kini, Additional Registrar and Director Admission, MAHE, Manipal was the guest honour for the program. He encouraged all the students and advised them to familiarize themselves with the campus facilities, use them suitably and to excel in their profession.

Dr Monica Charlotte Solomon, Dean, MCODS, MAHE-Manipal welcomed the new batch of students and excel with knowledge and wisdom of oral health care.

Dr Shruthi Acharya and Dr Kunal Bhatia compered the program.
