Mysuru: The MBA department of GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, in collaboration with the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) Mysuru Chapter, had organized a 30-hour certificate program on “Digital Marketing” for final year MBA students. The girls were introduced to the various theoretical concepts, social media and email marketing tools, and strategies in digital marketing.
The program was organized at the MBA Department, GSSSIETW, Mysuru.
The training included an assignment, case study discussion, hands-on training, and demonstrations of tools.
The training program was successfully concluded with a valedictory function and distribution of certificates to the young managers.
Integrated Digital Marketing Strategies is a part and parcel of today’s businesses worldwide. Digitization has made things faster and easier to reach out, as it incorporates unique tools to perfectly organize the content, personalize, and reach the right person at the right time in the right way. The business world, from agriculture to aviation to space are all seen with digitization. Knowledge of digital marketing and honing the present hard skills imparted through the university curriculum has become very important, especially for students, in pursuit of management education, as they would be required to manage large “knowledge force” working in the present Industries.
The students were advised to listen to podcasts to hone their skills on the go. “One of the best ways to learn from the experts is to listen to a podcast while you’re commuting, working or relaxing,” the facilitator said. They were given a glimpse of ten of the top digital marketing podcasts in the digital marketing space for their learning.
