The event included a tree-planting ceremony in the morning, followed later by a stage programme.

The Income Tax Department contributed 25 saplings. Eight saplings of various fruit trees like mango, jackfruit, gooseberries, kokum and Jamun were planted by the chief guest, the Income Tax Department officers, the institution’s management members and students. The students took the oath, “Nature is the future, and the future is nature.”

S., Deputy Director, and Jaby Charles Derrick, Assistant Director, along with 15 other officers and staff members, participated in the tree planting ceremony. Lalitha G.
