Mangaluru: The official inauguration of the III Batch of the online Certificate Course “E-Konkani Bhaas & Culture” was held on 4th June 2022 through the zoom platform. Dr Alwyn D’Sa, Controller of Examinations, SAC and Dr Austin Prabhu, USA, Editor, VEEZ Konkani Weekly, officially inaugurated the Course.  This course is organised under the STRIDE (Scheme for Transdisciplinary Research for India’s Developing Economy) Scheme of UGC.

20 participants globally were involved in this course.

Flora Castelino, Co-ordinator of the Course welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks with M.C. Narration.

About the Course

This Certificate Course is exclusively designed for ONLINE classes for a duration of 50 hours. Online classes will be conducted every Friday from 6 pm to 8 pm. This course will be conducted using 3 scripts i.e., Kanadi, Nagari and Romi and the option is given to the students to choose any one of the scripts for answering the online test at the end of the course.

Eminent resource persons from Goa, Mangaluru, Bengaluru & UAE will be facilitating the classes on the web. The Course Content has been designed for beginners as well as passionate promoters of the Konkani Language and Culture.
