Mangaluru: “IESA Makeathon” an India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) initiative to enable the maker community in India drive technology innovation, is the largest designing event in South Asia. A total of 20 teams were selected after a 36-hour overnight design challenge that spanned across 5 cities.
Nithin T from the fifth semester Electronics and Communications Engineering and Pradeep Kumar from the Dept of Electronics and Communications Engineering along with RDL Technologies, participated in the Bengaluru selection round and won the Golden Ticket for the finale.
At the finale that was held in New Delhi, the team emerged as the 2nd runners-up. The prize included a plaque, incubation opportunities and other benefits. This event provided the opportunity to network with industry leaders and innovators that would enable Sahyadri to benchmark and rise to global standards.
