Mangaluru: “It is important to inculcate research orientation in order to improve your competencies and learning process,” said Sumitha Achar, Assistant Professor, St. Aloysius College after inaugurating the Research Cell at SDM Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, here on Friday, November 23.
She conducted a workshop on the topic ‘Management Consultancy Research’ and addressed the students and explained the methodology in conducting research which would be helpful to students during the course of their internships and projects.
The Research Cell was inaugurated by Sumitha Achar and Neha Shetty was the Alumnus guest, who is presently pursuing research at Mangalore University.
Neha stressed the importance of research and said that more students should opt for studies in research in order to develop new knowledge and have an open outlook to find practical solutions to academic issues.
Student Co-ordinator Dhanya welcomed the gathering.
