Mangaluru: As the President of Archieboy Holdings, Bo Bennett says, “A dream becomes a goal when action is taken toward its achievement”, holds good in the case of Shravan Mahesh, a student of I B.A. who has won a Gold Medal in Relay and 3 Silver Medals in 500 mts, 1000 mts and 1500 mts respectively, in the Ice Speed Short Track Skating International Championship held at Philippines from September 23 to 29.
Shravan Mahesh is the son of a renowned skating coach of Mangaluru and a National Award winner Mahesh. His sister Sharanya Mahesh is also an alumnus of St Aloysius College and a Skating Champion. She was the recipient of the prestigious ‘Ekalavya Award’ in the year 2010.
At the age of 6, Shravan began his practice of skating. He has participated in various Skating Competitions at the regional, national and international levels.
The icing on the cake is his recent journey to the Philipines where he participated in the International Skating Championship and bagged Gold Medal in Relay and 3 Silver Medals in other events.
St. Aloysius College has expressed its joy of being proud of the achievements of Shravan Mahesh and has wished him to achieve many more laurels in future too.
The Management, staff, and students of St Aloysius have also wished him success for his participation at the Asian Championship 2018, to be held at Jakarta, Indonesia from November 22 to December 2.
