Mangaluru: St Joseph Engineering College – Vamanjoor, Mangaluru and SELCO Foundation India, signed up an MoU on November 18, to initiate Social Innovations in the field of Renewable Energy. On behalf of SELCO FOUNDATION India, Santhi Devadu, Programme Manager – Education Lab, exchanged the MOU with Rev. Fr Joseph J Lobo, Director – SJEC. The MOU was initiated by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SJEC.
This was followed by a Student Orientation Programme for Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Students with Santhi Devadu, Suhas Kumar, Product & Design Manager as the resource persons.
SJEC aims to create innovative solutions that are financially viable to the deprived sections of the society by partnering with SELCO foundation which is an internationally acclaimed NGO.
