Mangaluru: On 7 Nov 7, 2022 the Department of Secretarial Practice, (Autonomous), organized an industrial visit to M/s ACE Foods Pvt Ltd, Industrial area, Ganjimat. The Final year BA, Secretarial Practice and Office Practice and Management students, 18 in number along with three faculty members visited the industry.
Neha, the staff of ACE Foods assisted the group and explained the process of preparing variety of food items, the various machineries used, their functioning etc. She also showed how the oil automatically passes through the taps from the tanks and then cleared once in three days, usage of thermal heat uniformly in every step etc.
The students also observed the process of packing and sealing food items through an automated machine for a pre-fixed net weight and for fixed number of packets. Students got a rare opportunity to see the variety of items which were in the process of preparation. These food items are exported to USA, Australia and to Middle East countries. The visit was a fruitful one with an interactive session.
