St Agnes College holds meet on options for Chem Graduates

Mangaluru: The Post Graduate Department of Chemistry of St Agnes College (Autonomous), organized a seminar on 27 May 2022. The M.C. for the event was Anjali from first year M.Sc. The programme started at 2.30 p.m. with a prayer song led by Sneha Treesa and her group, followed by a welcome to the gathering by Amritha. The guest was offered a token of love by Likitha U, Assistant Professor, P.G. Department of Chemistry.

Subin gave a brief introduction about the resource person Dr Vijesh A. M., Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Payyanur College, Kerala, who was the speaker of the day. It was followed by a talk from Dr Vijesh A. M. He gave different criteria for selecting a career and how to achieve it. He described the different types of job opportunities after becoming a chemistry graduate or postgraduate. He briefed about the different colleges and different courses offered by them after M.Sc. The programme ended at 4.30 p.m. with the vote of thanks given by Anusree. Undergraduate and postgraduate students of Chemistry attended the programme.
