Mangaluru: Yenepoya Medical College, Mangaluru celebrated World Health Day in their hospital premises on April 8.
Medical Superintendent Dr Sampathila Padmanabha chaired the program. The Head of the Department of General Medicine Dr Prabha Adhikari inaugurated the program by checking the BP of a person.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Prabha gave information regarding the precautionary measures to be taken to stop the epidemic of Cholera, Malaria and Dengue. Hospital Administration and Medical Social Work Studies students carried out a procession with awareness placards.
Dr Sunitha Saldanha of the Hospital Administration Department, Dr Mohammad Guthigar from Medical Social Works, Nursing Superintendent sister Ilene and Hospital Superintendent Praveen Kumar were present on the stage.
Vijayanand Shetty from the marketing section welcomed the gathering and Abdul Razak from Medical Social Work department proposed the vote of thanks.
