Mangaluru: The Dept. of ENT & Head & Neck Surgery, Yenepoya Medical College, Mangaluru is organizing a two-day Live Surgical Workshop YEN OTOFESS 2016 on November, 11 and 12 at the Auditorium 8th floor, EMD Building Yenepoya Medical College Hospital. This two days workshop includes lectures and live surgical demonstrations of various middle ear surgeries and endoscopic sinus surgeries by eminent guest faculty.
Dr. Vijayendra H, an internationally renowned otologist from Bengaluru, Dr. Deepak Haldipur, an eminent otologist and endoscopic sinus surgeon from Bangalore and Dr. Jyothi Swaroop R from Tumkur are the guest faculty. The live surgical workshop will be inaugurated on November 11 at 10.30 am. Farhaad Yenepoya, Director (Finance), Yenepoya University will inaugurate and preside over the function. Dr. H Vijayendra, Bengaluru will be the chief guest and Dr. Deepak Haldipur, Bengaluru will be the guest of honour. Dr. G Shreekumar Menon, Registrar Yenepoya University and Dr. Ghulam Jeelani Qadiri, Principal Yenepoya Medical College will grace the occasion.
Over 100 participants from Karnataka and Kerala are expected to participate in this workshop. The program is being organized to update the knowledge on the management of common ear and sinus related conditions and to demonstrate different techniques for the surgical management of these diseases.
