Mangaluru: The Department of ENT & Head & Neck Surgery, Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore conducted a two-day Live Surgical Workshop YEN OTOFESS 2016 at EMD Building Yenepoya Medical College Hospital on 11th and 12th of November. The two-day workshop included lectures and live surgical demonstrations of various middle ear surgeries and endoscopic sinus surgeries by eminent guest faculty.
Dr. Vijayendra H, an internationally renowned otologist from Bengaluru and Dr. Deepak Haldipur, an eminent otologist were the guest faculty. The live surgical workshop was inaugurated on 11th November 2016 by Farhaad Yenepoya, Director (Finance), Yenepoya University. Over 80 participants from Karnataka and Kerala participated in this workshop. Nearly 12 different microscopic middle ear surgeries and endoscopic sinus surgeries including endoscopic endonasal removal of pituitary tumours were demonstrated live during this workshop.
