Yenepoya University welcomes newcomers with orientation programme

Mangaluru: “I had an opportunity to visit a lot of universities, both medicine and other life sciences institutes, but Yenopoya University is built with class. It required great vision and forethought to achieve and do the best,” opined Prof. (Dr) M. Shantharam Shetty at the Orientation Programme 2016-17 for new comers of Yenepoya University, Deralakatte.

Dr Shetty who was the guest of honour further said,” It was the vision, the simplicity and honesty of Yenopoya (Father of Abdulla Kunhi and Mohammed Kunhi) who made it possible and showed to us Mangalureans what one can achieve with determination”.

Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, Chancellor, Yenepoya University presided over the function. In his presidential address he said, “The induction ceremony marks the start of an exciting journey, full of dreams hopes and aspirations. This day is about you, students. We are now part of your dreams and together we will build a great career”.

Dr. G. SreeKumar Menon, Registrar, Yenepoya University welcomed the gathering and Dr Nandish B T, Deputy Controller of Examination delivered the vote of thanks.
