Mangaluru: Yenepoya Dental College in Association with Yen Oncocenter and MFAR Constructions Pvt Ltd Organized Cancer awareness and screening programme for the staff and workers of MFAR constructions, Mangalore, at Bolar labour quarters.
Yenepoya University Director of Finance Farhad inaugurated the programme in presence of Anil Bhandary Kota , Zonal Head and Dr. Zaffer , CMO MFAR.
Dr. Ibrahim Nagnur, HOD preventive oncology, Yen onco center, Dr. Rachana Prabhu, Yenpoya Dental College, Mr. Sudarshan Shetty, DGM Projects, MFAR were also present on the Dias.
Cancer awareness demonstration was given by Dr. Ibrahim Nagnur, Oral Caner demonstration by Dr. Imran Pasha, Breast cancer talk by Dr. Rachana Prabhu and Cervical cancer by Dr. Ashwini Shetty, Convenor, CAOP, Yenepoya.
Almost 260 people were screened for oral, breast and cervical cancer.
