Mangaluru: On the occasion of the bhajan saptah (a week long bhajan programme), organized by the Sri Vitobha Rakhumai Temple, a fair under the title “Saptahche Santh” was inaugurated by the Mangaluru South Constituency MLA, Vedavyas Kamath.
The fare is organized with the joint collaboration of Sri Venkataramana Temple and Sri Vitobha Rakhumai Temple, at the Srinivasa Kalyana Mantap.
The fare caters to organic produce and self-employment.
Speaking on the occasion, Vedavyas Kamath said, “The fare is organized to promote organic produce, organic homemade products prepared by women and also to promote women employment, in order to make them self-employed.”
“The intention of this fare is to promote and encourage self-employment for women”, he added.
Trustee of Sri Vitobha Rakhumai Temple, G Hanumanth Kamath, Bhaskar Chandra Shetty, Vasanth Poojary and others were present.
