Mangaluru: MLA B. Vedavyas Kamath said that all the autorickshaw drivers in the City have set an example by engaging in public service and providing good service to the pilgrims arriving in the District.
Addressing a consultative meeting with the Leaders of Dakshina Kannada District Autorickshaw Drivers’ Association, he said that his Government is committed to taking unique steps in the interest of autorickshaw drivers, ensuring that Government benefits are delivered to the autorickshaw drivers. Locals have expressed gratitude for the priority and support being given by the MLAs for development works, he noted.
“The BJP Government is giving top priority to development issues and providing all kinds of facilities for the ease of living of the people. There is no politics on the issue of development,he asserted.
Kamath said that Mangaluru City, which is emerging as a Smart City, will soon be filled with a brand new weed.
MCC Deputy Mayor Poornima, Local Leaders Nitin Kumar, Anil Kumar, Yogish Kanchan, Nitesh Rai, Hemanth, Pradeep Shetty, Surendra Salian, Vasu, and Sitaram Kotian were present on the occasion.
