Mumbai: Under the leadership of Billawara Association, Mumbai President Harish G. Amin and with the help of society donors, the association organised kit distribution programme at 23 local offices of the association and on Sunday July 4 it was held at Jogeshwari office.
Vice President Shankar D. Poojary said that the kit distribution programme has taken place in every local office since past many months and the project will reach all the local offices soon. He called upon everyone to make use of this opportunity and get the kits. “During the lockdown, we met a large number of poverty-stricken families, and are aware of their hardships and hence the association has helped them in many ways. We have been organising various programmes from the headquarters and thereby providing assistance to the needy families. Every local office member is in trouble and donors should come forward to help them,” he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawara Association, Jogeshwari Local Office of Mumbai Honarary Executive President Harga Babu Poojary said that it is difficult for all of us. We urge that the most vulnerable should receive these kits, gracefully, he added.
Local Committee Executive President Narayan K Poojary said that the needy in the community should be extended help. “Let us all support this endeavour by President Harish G Amina,” he added.
