Mangaluru: St Lawrence English Medium School Primary Boys sports team emerged as Mangalore North Zonal champions in the Cluster level athletic competition. The boys’ team of St Lawrence English Medium school bagged 3 Golds, 2 Silver and 1 bronze in the primary section.
Mohammed Shami of 7th STD won 3 golds; in 100 Mtrs Race, 200 Mtrs Race, also in long jump. Gagan of 6th standard won a silver in High Lump and a bronze in hurdles. The relay team also won a silver. Thus the primary Boys school team emerged champions in Mangalore North Zone.
Among the High school students, Manvith of 8th std won gold in High Jump and Pratham won gold in 400 Mtrs Race, Sumuk of 10th std won Silver in discuss throw and Bronze in shot put throw. Josik of 10th std won bronze in triple jump.
