Rodrigues is a prominent leader and supporter of the Mangalorean Konkani community. He is also known for his philanthropic works both at home and in the UAE. For the past 35 years, he has been successfully managing his company, Al Mazroui & Clevy Auto Services L.L.C., in Abu Dhabi. He is also the patron of NewsKarnataka since its inception.
He has supported and encouraged various organisations, NGOs, and his fellow Mangaloreans, regardless of caste, creed, language, or religion.
