Mangaluru: The Rotary Club of Mangalore City RI District 3181 has been awarded a participation certificate for contributing to set a record in the Asia Book of Records (ABR) for participation of maximum people in diabetic screening camp held at multiple venues in the City.
A total of 10,69,989 people were screened for diabetes during the camp, which took place on September 29 which is observed as the camps were held on World Heart Day at 10,258 camps.
The event were held in association with Defeat Diabetes, One Nation, One Day, One Million Tests, The Art of Living, Torrent Pharma, and Beat.
