Free Eye Checkup Camp Held At Snehalaya

Mangaluru: A free eye checkup camp was held on 16-11-2021 at Snehalaya.

The inspection camp was organized in collaboration with Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Mangalore Round Table 115, and Mangalore Ladies Circle 82.

An inspection program was conducted by the doctors of Prasad Nethralaya, Mangalore. More than 150 people from Bachalike, Pavoor, Manjeswara, Vorkady, Thoudugoli and Gerukatte made use of this camp .

About 93 people with eye problems were found to be in need of spectacles and about 25 required eye surgery. They will be given spectacles and surgery for free at the earliest.

Mr Royster, Chairman of Mangalore Round Table, Mr Fate Mohammad, Secretary Mr Vinay Fernandes, Programme Coordinator, Mrs Jennifer Fernandes, President of Mangalore Ladies Circle 82 and Mr Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya were present for the event today. Staff and residents of Snehalaya also got benefited from this free eye checkup camp.
