Guardian Angels Higher Primary School reunion held

Mangaluru: The Classmates Reunion of batch 1970-77 was held at Guardian Angels Higher Primary School, recently.

“It’s essential to remember the school where you studied and rekindle your memories. I thank the core committee members who brought the old friends and teacher together, said National Award, State Award and District Award winning Former Teacher Dulcine Sequeira Rego.

Addressing the attendees as the Chief Guest of the reunion, she said, “Please go down the memory lane to experience the golden days of childhood. Memories are what we cling to and such classmates’ reunion is the best way to relish lost moments,” she added.

On the occasion, Aatodonji Dina was also organised. Satish spoke about the importance of Aati Month and the food specialties of its own.

Around 30 classmates attended the function. As many as 26 out of them brought different dishes usually prepared during the month of Aati. All played the games which were mainly played those days like jibli, marble shooting, coconut dash-breaking, non-stop 30 minutes dance, parts of old drama sequence, acting, dancing and classical dance performances among others. It was all fun and happiness.

While Winnie welcomed and the prayer was rendered by Revathi. The programme was compered by Daya Victor whereas Oliver delivered the vote of thanks.
