Hore Kanike held for the feast of Infant Jesus this Sunday

Mangaluru: As a preparation for the feast of Infant Jesus on Jan 8, Hore Kanike procession was held at Infant Jesus Shrine Alangar. Devotees in large numbers took part in bringing food material for the festal meal

Rev Fr Gregory DSouza parish priest of Hosabettu conducted the prayer service and blessed the devotees and the material they brought and inaugurated the procession with the statue of Infant Jesus

This was followed by a solemn Eucharistic celebration. In his message, Fr Gregory explained the greatness of the one who gives cheerfully and the blessings we receive from God for our sacrifices and generous heart.

Rajesh D’Souza, convener of 21 commissions welcomed and compered, Edward Serrao newly elected Vice President proposed the vote of thanks. Evening snacks were provided to all who participated
