ICU for high-risk pregnancy at Lady Goschen opens on Dec 14

Mangaluru: Rotary Club Mangalore City has set up an intensive care unit for high-risk pregnancies at Lady Goschen Hospital in the City as part of their community development oriented project. The ICU will be inaugurated on Wednesday December 14.

As a part of the inauguration of the ICU project for high-risk pregnancy at Lady Goschen Hospital, a press conference was held at Press Club in the city. The organisers gave comprehensive information about the inaugural function.

The project was launched jointly with the Rotary Club of Skereville, Indiana USA under a global grant from the Rotary Foundation.

Rotary Foundation R.I. District 6540 U.S.A Chairman PDG Rtn. Dr. N. Ranjan Kini will hand over the ICU.

Nitte Deemed University Pro Chancellor Mr. N. Vishal Hegde will be the Chief Guest.

Former District Governor, World Rotaract Co-Chairman Rtn. Ravi Vadlamani will light the lamp.

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Deputy Mayor of Mangaluru City Corporation Poornima, Rotary District Governor Rtn. Prakash Karanth, Former District Governor Rtn. Ravindra Bhat, and Lady Goschen Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Durgaprasad will be the guests.

Global Grants Project President Rtn. Ranjan, Club President Rtn. Basavakumar, Secretary Rtn. Prashanth, Rtn. Dr. Ranjan Kini, Rtn. Canaute J. Pinto, snd Rtn. Prashanth Rai were present at the press conference.
