Mangalore: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy has invited applications for its 2022 annual Honorary Awards.
A press release from the Academy stated, the annual honorary award will be bestowed to the achievers from the field of Konkani Literature, Konkani Arts (Konkani Drama, Music and Feature Films) and Konkani Folklore. And hence applications have been invited from achievers for their lifetime achievement. The award constitutes Rs. 50,000, a certificate and a memento along with the customary felicitation.
Applicants can nominate their own names or other citizens/organisations can recommend a name and send applications in writing to Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy Honorary Award -2022 on the envelope.
