Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School organised LCS Super Summer Mirth for Classes I to 5. “I have a conviction that a few weeks spent in a well-organized summer camp may be more value educationally than a whole year of formal school”, said Charles William Eliot. Every summer has a story in Lourdes Central School. During summer, various sports camps, a picnic for staff and orientation programmes are held annually.
This year to make a difference in students’ lives, learn informally, enjoy the holidays and learn a few life skills Principal Rev. Fr Robert D Souza shared his idea with the teachers. Thus the LCS Super Summer Mirth was organized for classes 1-5. The principal vibrantly inaugurated it. Vice principals Belita Mascarenhas and Anita Thomas gave their message to the 85 students gathered in the school auditorium. After the prayers teachers welcomed the students creatively. Later various activities were held. Students participated in all the activities enthusiastically and along with the activities students also learnt life lessons.
