Mangaluru: MLA D. Vedavyas Kamath inaugurated the construction of a retaining wall at Kadri Hindu Burial Ground in Kadri Ward of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) at a cost of Rs 1 Crore.
The retaining wall is being constructed to protect the Sri Malaraya Daivasthana at the top of the cremation ground, which is in danger of collapsing. After the completion of the work, the land of Malaraya Daivasthana will be secured and the burial ground will also be safe.
