Mangaluru: New Forensic Odontology Centre opened at Yenepoya Dental College, Managluru. It was inaugurated by Dr. Ashith B Acharya, Professor and Head, Department of Forensic Odontology, SDMCDS, Dharwad.
Dr. Sudeendra Prabhu, Incharge Head, welcomed the guests. Dr. Akhter Husain, Dean YDC, highlighted the importance of training dentists in the field of Forensic Odontology. During the occasion, Dr. B.H. Sripathi Rao, Pro- Vice Chancellor emphasised on the importance of such centre, which helps the local law enforcing agencies in forensic identification.
Dr.Gangadhar Somayaji, registrar, released the Logo of the new centre.
Dr. Syed Miqdad delivered vote of thanks and Dr. Umme Amarah, conducted the proceedings of the event.
