Mangaluru: Through the unique Hadu Huttida Samaya programme, Team Black and White Mangalore, an organisation created by three like-minded young people from Mangaluru, was officially launched in 2016. The team eventually attracted hundreds of young people. AMAR JAWAN, a programme to honour the families of those martyred on the frontiers from Dakshina Kannada, was created by the team in 2018. For this event, thousands of kids came together to pay respect to I’m the deceased.
After a brief pause of few years, the team Black and White organised yet another programme Called ‘Shrama Meva Jayate’ on Sunday January 29, 2023 at 5.00 pm at Townhall Mangaluru.
Our society would not function as it does today without the “working class,” who are its backbone. Primarily the cleaners, traffic police, linemen, postman, transport staff, health workers and graveyard workers and so forth. Our goal is to acknowledge these individuals and value their contributions. Additionally, we showcased a cultural programme from them, said the team members.
