Rotary Club donates water purifier to Lady Goschen Hospital

Mangaluru: Manglore City Rotary Club donated water purifier costing Rs. 40,000 to Government Lady Goschen Hospital in the City.

Rotary Club District Governor Ravindra Bhat handed over the purifier to the hospital. Later, he said that pure drinking water is basic need of every human being. In this regard, the initiation taken by Anaesthesia specialist Dr. Ranjan and Rotary Club President Canute Jeevan Pinto is appreciable.

Lady Goschen Hospital Superintendent Dr. Durgaprasad M. R. said, ” Rotary club is doing a great work in the area of social service by responding to the needs of this government hospital. Also Rotary Club finds satisfaction in helping the government hospitals in need, he added.

Rotary Club Deputy Governor Yateesh Baikampady, Nitin Kamath, Basavakumar, Ganesh, Residential doctor Dr. Balakrishna Rao, and Dr. Aravind, Assistant administrator Rohitakshi and Nursing Officer Molly Monteiro were present.
