Shantiniketan Youth Wing role model for society

Udupi: Shantiniketan Youth Wing of Hebri Taluk is a role model for the society in the social activities they are continuously doing for the betterment of the society. It is our foremost duty not only to get from the society but also to repay the debt for the betterment of the society,” said Belve Ganesh Kini, a young entrepreneur.

He was speaking after inaugurating the anniversary celebrations of Kuchhuru – Kudibailu Shantiniketan Yuva Vrinda at Hebri Anantha Padmanabha Sannidhi on Saturday October 1.

Speaking after receiving the Shantiniketan Award, Hebri Anti-Naxal Force Police Inspector Satish B. S. said Shantiniketan’s name suggests is working with different dimensions of ideas. It is commendable that young people in rural areas are doing everyday for the betterment of the society, he said. He wished that more institutions would get national-level awards in the coming days.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh, President, Shantiniketan Yuva Vrinda said, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar said that education should be like drinking the milk of a tiger and that those who receive it must roar has been implemented in the Shantiniketan institution. All our members are backward in the economic and social sphere. It is because of the education we have received that the Shantiniketan Institute has been established and today recognised at the national level, he said and thanked everyone for contributing to the development of the institution.

Retired Army Officer Lieutenant Colonel Jagadish H, Hebri Anti-Naxal Force Police Inspector Satish B. S. Vijay Kumar Chara, a young businessman from Perdur, were honoured with the Shantiniketan Award 2022. Shantiniketan Vidyaposhak Puraskaram to award-winning Nandalike Abbanadka Sri Durgaparameshwari Friends Club, Shantiniketan Achievement Award, and felicitation to the parents of the Association were also held.

Nagaraj Shetty, President of SR Group of Educational Institutions, Yogesh Bhat and Kiran Tolar, Prashant Kamath, Bhaskar Jois, Chairman of the Committee of the Beladingala Sahitya Sammelana, Dr. Shekhar Ajekar, Sedimane Arasammakanu Shadow Society President K. Radhakrishna Kramadhari, Belanje Milk Producers’ Association President Bhootugundi Karunakar Shetty, Former Taluk Panchayat member Amrutha Kumar Shetty, Advocate Ratan Kumar, the Legal Counsel, Dixit Nayak, president-elect of the Shantiniketan cadre, Vice President Jayakar Acharya, Managing Committee member Mahesh, Nagaraj, Nalini, Raghavendra, Srinivas Shetty, Reshma, Dinesh, K Ganesh, Narendra S. Marasanige, Naveen Shetty, Rajeshree, Ravish Shetty, Honorary Advisor, Vijaykumar, Ganesh Shetty, Sandesh Kulal and Vinod were present.

Nithyananda Shetty, honoyrary Member of the Association, compered the programme. Narendra S. Marasani welcomed the gathering, Srinivas Shetty read out the report and Reshma delivered the vote of thanks.
