Bengaluru : Commission for Ecumenism and Inter-religious dialogue, under the aegis of Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishops Council (KRCBC),in association with laity of Bangalore, is organising an inter religions programme titled “Universal Harmony” on Saturday, December 2.
The programme aiming to strengthen the good relationship between the Christian and other religions of Karnataka will be held at St. Joseph’s Indian High school Grounds, Near Mallya hospital in Bengaluru.
Briefing about the event to media in the city, Fr. George Vincent Lobo, Regional secretary of Small Christian Communities (SCC’s), ecumenism and Inter religious dialogue informed that religious leaders from all religions will be present on the occasion. He extended an invitation to delegates and leaders from all political parties to join their hands in propagating religious harmony among all people.
The primary goal and objective of this ‘Universal Harmony’ is to promote secularism and foster inter-religious relationship among people in view of Christmas and also to strengthen the bonds of unity and peace.
