Mangaluru: World Oral Health Day was organized by the NSS Unit 1 and the Department of Public Health Dentistry.
The program started with an inaugural address by the principal of the School, the President of the SDA NSS Program Officer Dr Imran Pasha M was the chief guest and addressed the school.
The program had 71 school participants from 1st Standard to 7th Standard. Oral Health Screening was done for these children and there was an Awareness talk on Brushing Teeth with Quiz Competition from 1st standard to 7th Standard separately. Toothpaste was given to the children and they were given additional toothpaste for their parents. GSK Pharma distributed the toothpaste for the program.
