Youngstar club urges public not to throw plastic waste on roads

Mangaluru: Youngstar Club expressing its concern towards the environment cleaned the Baikampady Youngstar circle and urged the public not to throw any plastic waste on road.

The club took an environment-friendly initiative and made the circle plastic waste-free. The Youngstar Club President of Meenakalya, Baikampdy urged the public not to throw any plastic waste on roads and beachside.

He said, “if an animal consumes plastic, it never gets digested, and number of animals are dying only because of eating thrown waste along with plastics.”

“It’s a humble request to all, please don’t throw waste here and there. If you come across anyone doing this please stop them. Let’s all work together to keep our surroundings and society clean. Let us have a clean environment to be healthy,” he requested.
