Mysuru: After the success of Mysuru Fashion Week (MFW) Season 2 Jayanthi Ballal, ace designer and proprietor of Needle Works is all set to launch ‘Model hunt’ Season 5.
An opportunity and platform for youngsters interested in modeling, the event will be launched on November 7 at the Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar Golf Club. The event is open for anyone to take part in, provided they participate with their own costumes.
Jayanthi Ballal, after completing a course in fashion designing from the reputed vogue institute in Bangalore decided to bring fashion to Mysoreans. She started “Needle Works” in 2002. A young mother then, she had a passion for clothes and a penchant for neat lines and design. Jayanthi and Needle Works have moved on to greater things while retaining their roots in the cultural hub, Mysuru. She has showcased her designs through several ramp walks, organizing over 40 shows for different institutions.
