Mangaluru: The installation of office bearers of the interact club of Sharada Vidyanikethana Public School, Talapady was held in the school auditorium at 2 p.m.
After the traditional lighting of the lamp by dignitaries and invocation the Principal Mrs Sushma Dinkar welcomed the gathering.
Rotary President Rtn. Sudhir Jalan inducted President Gaurav into office by collaring and handing over the gavel.
Youth Service Director Rtn. Vinod D’Souza inducted the other office-bearers.
The newly inducted president gave his acceptance speech.
The Youth Service Director gave his message to the students.
Rtn. Sudhir Jalan gave his Presidential Address. He called upon the students to be active, interact and Rotary Projects. And briefed the responsibilities of being the members of an interactive club.
The staff in charge Mrs Aishwarya Bangera and Ms Wilsiya Thomas were also present on the occasion.
A formal vote of thanks was given by staff in charge Ms Wilsiya Thomas.
The programme came to an end with the singing of the National Anthem.
Master of Ceremonies Sai Amarthya and Karan nicely and systematically compered the programme ably assisted by staff in charge.
