
FIR Filed Against Chakravarthy Sulibele for Alleged Hate Speech at Religious Event
A case has been lodged against Chakravarthy Sulibele at the Ullal Police Station for allegedly making an inflammatory statement targeting another religion during a religious gathering at Koragajja Kshetra in Kuthar.
The complaint was filed by Congress leaders on Sunday, accusing Sulibele of delivering a speech that could incite communal tension and disturb social harmony. Ullal City Congress President Mustafa Abdulla spearheaded the complaint.
Prominent Congress figures, including Usman Kallapu, Ayub Manchila, Dinesh Kumpala, Rashid Yusuf, Rahman Kodijal, Chandrika Rai, Surekha Chandras, and Abdul Jabbar, were present when the complaint was submitted.
As a result of the complaint, an FIR has been registered at Ullal Police Station, and the authorities have initiated an investigation to examine the matter further.
This incident has sparked concerns regarding the preservation of social peace and the role of speech in maintaining inter-community relations. Authorities are expected to take appropriate action as the investigation progresses.
