In Mangaluru PUC Student Goes Missing After Parents Confiscate Phone
A 16-year-old Pre-University College (PUC) student, Muhammad Yasin Afnan, has gone missing from Meghinapete in Mangaluru. Yasin, who was enrolled at St. Raymond’s PU College in Vamanjoor, reportedly had a habit of frequently using his mobile phone, which led to a conflict with his parents.
On September 25, after a disagreement regarding his phone usage, Yasin’s parents confiscated his device. Following this, he left home with the intention of attending college but did not arrive at school and has not returned home since. His disappearance has raised concerns among family and friends, prompting an appeal for information.
Yasin is described as being approximately 5’2″ tall, with a wheatish complexion and black hair. He has an average build and was last seen wearing a blue and green sports T-shirt, blue pants, and a silver watch on his left wrist. He is fluent in Tulu, Kannada, and Beary, which may help identify him in the community.
Local authorities are actively investigating Yasin’s disappearance. The police have urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward and assist in locating him. Concerned individuals can contact the Mangaluru South Police Station at 0824-2220518.
Yasin’s family is understandably anxious about his safety, and the community is rallying to support the search efforts. As the investigation continues, hope remains that he will be found safe and returned home soon.
