New Delhi: The Ram Mandir issue is likely to create more problems for the ruling NDA government just before the Lok Sabha election in 2019.
Speaking to the reporters in New Delhi, Pejawar Math seer Vishweshatheertha Swamiji, who took active part in the Rama Janma Bhumi movement warned of indefinite hunger strike if the central government fails to break the deadlock over the issue.
“We want the Ram mandir before 2019. The central government must work towards resolving all the obstacles. It can issue an ordinance as the BJP is enjoying clear majority in the Lok Sabha. We want a solution for this before 2019,” he said.
“All the saints are planning to meet the heads of all the political parties in New Delhi to create a political consensus on the issue. We don’t have any plan to meet Prime Minister Modi in this regard,” he said.
