Chennai: Younus, a student of Crescent Engineering College turned saviour to a Hindu couple after he rescued a pregnant woman and evacuated her to a safer place.
The Muslim young student was in news from last few days for his rescue efforts in flood-ravaged Chennai.

The pregnant woman named Chitra was stranded in a place where it was most affected by the torrential rains. However, the Muslim youth rescued her and shifted her to a safer place where she is said to have given birth to a baby boy.

As a mark of gratitude the couple Mohan and Chitra have named their newborn son as ‘Younus’.
