New Delhi: Underworld don Rajendra Nikalje alias Chhota Rajan has passed away due to Covid-19 at AIIMS on Friday May 7.
Rajan’s admission to AIIMS was reported on April 26 after the assistant jailer in Tihar notified the session court over the phone that they would be unable to produce Rajan via video conference before the judge because he had tested positive for Covid-19 and had been admitted to the hospital.
Chhota Rajan was accused in at least 70 criminal cases in Maharashtra with connection to extortion and murder.
