CM Bommai visits Delhi to discuss Mekedatu Project

New Delhi: Karnataka Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday visited New Delhi amid the disagreement between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu over the Mekedatu project.

On Wednesday August 26 speaking to the media persons CM Bommai said, “We have projected the meeting with the legal experts on interstate water issues. Karnataka Government will follow the legal procedure and aims to resolve the major issues like Mekedatu, Mahadai, Ettinhole as per the law.”

Bommai met Home minister Amit Shah and union minister Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of Major – Medium Irrigation and water Resources Govind Karjol were also present.
