New Delhi: Delhi has been shamed again. In a second case in the last two days, a seven-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men in Delhi’s Tigri area on Saturday evening. One accused, a juvenile, has been arrested and two others are still absconding.
The victim was rushed to All India Institute of Medical Sciences trauma centre and her condition is stated to be critical.
According to police the main accused, a 16-year-old boy, has been arrested and produced before the judicial magistrate. The accused was known to the girl’s family and is from the same locality.
The girl, a class 1 student, was allegedly kidnapped around 6. 30 pm from a park close to her home in South Delhi’s Tigri area and was taken to another park nearby where she was raped and was left in an unconscious state. Later, her neighbours spotted
her and informed the family members.
This is the second incident of rape in the national capital in the last two days after a 14-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped by six men on Friday at Dichaon village here.
